Reforming the public and non-profit sectors involves many challenges for those in leadership positions. Whether we are talking about the influence of social media, the millennials, the interconnected economic environment or the new wave of populism (see Brexit, Trump), the State, but especially those in decision-making positions in state institutions must be able to navigate in this complex and dynamic environment.
Leadership of the public sector program aims to provide students with skills and competences needed to meet these challenges through an interdisciplinary approach that includes innovative disciplines combining theoretical knowledge from diverse but complementary areas such as sociology, communication, political science, public administration, management, economy etc.
The lectures of this program are structured to develop critical thinking, a pro-active and problem-solving attitude. The program is designed as a comprehensive set of experiences including lectures, seminars, teamwork, community outreach activities, study visits or innovation laboratories, etc.
